Common Espresso Machines Issues and Solutions
These are common guides applie to H10A, H10 Plus, H10B and other semi-automatic espresso machines
Problem: No water comes out
- Cause: Water tank is empty
Solution: Fill the tank with water and turn on the steam knob until hot water comes out continuously from the steam pipe. - Cause: The red silicone cover inside the water tank is not removed
Solution: Remove the red silicone cover inside the water tank. - Cause: The input voltage or frequency is inconsistent with the nameplate
Solution: Make sure the voltage and frequency are consistent with the nameplate. - Cause: Machine malfunctions
Solution: Contact authorized service.
Problem: No steam is generated
- Cause: Steam nozzle clogged
Solution: Clean the steam nozzle. - Cause: Water tank is empty
Solution: Fill the tank with water and turn on the steam knob until hot water comes out continuously from the steam pipe. Now you can start steaming. - Cause: The steam knob is closed after pressing the steam button
Solution: Turn the steam knob anticlockwise to activate the steam function.
Problem: Coffee runs out around the edge of the filter holder
- Cause: Too much powder in the filter
Solution: Turn off the machine, let it cool down, clean the filter, and use an appropriate amount of coffee powder. - Cause: Powder in the seal ring under group head
Solution: Clean any coffee powder from the seal ring under the group head.
Problem: Coffee comes out too slow or no coffee comes out
- Cause: Coffee powder is too fine, causing a clogged filter
Solution: Use thicker coffee powder. - Cause: Filter holes are blocked
Solution: Brush or clean the filter holes. - Cause: Red silicone cover inside the water tank is not removed
Solution: Remove the red silicone cover inside the water tank. - Cause: Steam knob is open
Solution: Turn the steam knob clockwise to close it. - Cause: Water tank not inserted properly
